LuckSmith is committed to protecting the privacy of those who visit our Web site, (www.lucksmith.com), and those who subscribe to our online service. The following discloses our policies for gathering, sharing, and disseminating information on the LuckSmith Web site.

Information Policies for Anonymous LuckSmith Visitors

Anonymous Visitors are defined as visitors who browse the site up until the point they:

• Decide to subscribe to our service, or
• Log into their an subscriber account.

Someone who doesn’t ever subscribe is always treated as an anonymous visitor.

For each Anonymous Visitor, we collect the IP address, type of Web browser, time of day, visit length, and details about the site that may have referred the visitor to LuckSmith (search engines, partner sites, etc). This information is aggregated to measure common Web statistics such as the number of visits, average time spent on the site, and pages viewed. LuckSmith uses this information to track the use of our Web site and to improve the content of our site. We do not automatically collect email address or other personal information from Anonymous Visitors.

If an Anonymous Visitor wishes to receive copies of our newsletter, promotions, or other periodic communications that we distribute via e-mail, they can provide us with an e-mail address. Further details about this are outlined below under “Opt Out”.

Information Policies for LuckSmith Subscribing Members

Subscribing Members are defined as site visitors who agree to the LuckSmith Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use Policies, and register as subscribers to our service. LuckSmith's site uses browser "cookies" in areas that require password authentication for access. (A cookie is a tiny element of data that a Web site can send to a visitor’s Web browser, which may then be stored on a hard drive so we can recognize that visitor on subsequent visits). We use cookies only to maintain an open “session” during a subscriber’s visit, and to close or log out of their subscription after a certain period of time. Visitors may set their browser preferences to be notified when LuckSmith attempts to save a cookie on their browser. Denying this action may cause issues with certain pages within the password-protected member-only sections of our Web site.

When a visitor becomes a Subscribing Member to LuckSmith, a registration form requires them to provide Unique Identifiers (First and Last Name, Username, e-mail address, etc). LuckSmith’s payment partner, PayPal, also presents forms that gather other information including Financial Information (credit card numbers and relevant card verification details), and where required, Demographic Information (address, city, state, and zip code).

The Unique Identifiers are required to verify identity and protect against fraud during the purchase transaction, and to establish an account for the visitor.

The Financial Information and Demographic Information is collected by PayPal, and is required to execute a purchase transaction via online credit processing. The Financial Information gathered may include credit card number, expiration date, cardholder’s name, etc, are only used during the purchase transaction process. Demographic Information is used in verifying the identity of the subscriber, and is also used by LuckSmith to provide suggestions for the lottery games available in their area, which may be of interest to a member as part of their subscription package.

IMPORTANT: The Financial and Demographic Information entered by Subscribers is not stored in any way on LuckSmith servers, computers, or networks. The gathered information resides exclusively with PayPal, and we recommend review of the PayPal Privacy Policy if you have further questions regarding use of this information.

All data collected and stored by LuckSmith is used exclusively for internal purposes. It is never sold, loaned, leased or transferred to anyone outside of LuckSmith. If our policy on information gathering, sharing and dissemination changes at any time, all current Subscribing Members will be notified via e-mail, and this policy will be updated on the Web site.

Information Collected by Partner Web Sites

LuckSmith’s site may contain links to Web sites that are in no way affiliated with LuckSmith. LuckSmith is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any Web sites accessed via a link located on the LuckSmith.

Opt Out: LuckSmith Newsletter, Promotions, and Other Communications

The LuckSmith Web site may periodically distribute newsletters, promotions, updates, and other information via e-mail to its base of Subscribing Members and interested Anonymous Users. Subscribing Members have the option to decline or opt-out of these communications during the registration process, and/or at any time afterwards by visiting the My Account section of LuckSmith.

Anonymous users who provide an e-mail address for these communications must communicate with us directly to have their information removed. To remove information from our database or to request not to receive future communications, users should send an email message to privacy@LuckSmith.

Personal Information Errors and Updates

To change and/or modify information previously provided to LuckSmith, users should send an email message to privacy@lucksmith.com outlining the details of their request.

General Security Information

LuckSmith’s Web site is hosted in a secure environment. Software and hardware security measures have been implemented to protect any stored information from misuse or alteration from an external source. Additionally, access internally to the servers and data by employees of LuckSmith is restricted and monitored carefully.

Parental Control and Content for Young Adults

All content on LuckSmith web sites is acceptable for persons of any age, although the LuckSmith Web site is generally not intended for directed to people under the age of 13. LuckSmith does not take specific measures to screen online purchasers based on age. We recommend parents monitor online behavior of their children, including any purchases of goods or services over the Internet. LuckSmith cannot be held liable for any misrepresentations of age, or for purchase transactions that may occur as a result.
