General LuckSmith Questions
Does LuckSmith buy lottery tickets for me?
No, LuckSmith never buys, trades, or brokers lottery tickets for anyone, or for any lottery game. LuckSmith only provides PowerSets and number combinations for subscribers to use, or not use, at their discretion. It's up to the subscriber to purchase lottery tickets. Back to top

Does LuckSmith pay me for my winning tickets?
No. LuckSmith never awards or pays any winnings for any ticket, prize or game. LuckSmith is not a lottery game. LuckSmith is a lottery strategy system that helps you pick winning numbers. We are not affiliated with any lottery games. You must purchase valid lottery game tickets from authorized retailers in order to be eligible to win. If you don’t hold a valid a lottery ticket purchased from a retailer, you cannot win any prize from LuckSmith, and possibly not from a lottery game itself. If LuckSmith generated a winning number combination, you have not won anything unless you purchased a lottery ticket with that specific winning combination for the designated lottery game and drawing. Back to top

If I win, does LuckSmith take a percentage of my winnings?
No, all you pay is your subscription price. There are no hidden fees or charges. If you win any amount of money in a lottery game, you aren't required to share any of it with LuckSmith. Back to top

How is LuckSmith different from other lottery prediction systems?
LuckSmith is different from other lottery prediction systems because it's simple for almost anyone to use, and also very accurate in its predictions. Our technology does detailed, complex analysis and prediction work that many other lottery systems require you to do manually. To put this powerful technology to work for you, all you need to do is subscribe, and then check your e-mail prior to buying tickets for upcoming drawings. Together, the simplicity and effectiveness create a first-class service that can improve results for almost any type of lottery player.

Another key difference is that LuckSmith doesn’t apply a “one size fits all” approach to number prediction. LuckSmith's technology performs millions of calculations as it individually analyzes each lottery game. It optimally calibrates the prediction system for each game’s specific behavior. The result is more accurate predictions for each game, and our statistics prove it.

LuckSmith believes its lottery number prediction system is among the best available, and to prove it, we publish the prediction statistics for the 10 most recent drawings in every game we track. You won't find current performance statistics like these in any lottery books or videos. Back to top

Lottery games are random, how can LuckSmith predict what will happen?
All lottery games are random by design, but in reality, they do exhibit patterns and behaviors over time that can be identified. If monitored and studied correctly, the repetitive nature of those patterns can be predicted, to a degree, in the future. Studying even a small group of past drawings from any lottery game using a variety of parameters will reveal some of these patterns. The patterns and behaviors themselves vary greatly from one game to the next, and they also change over time. Studied together, they form a particular game’s “signature”. LuckSmith’s software is always monitoring and identifying each game’s signature, and then using that information to select PowerSets for upcoming drawings. Because of the inherent random nature of the lottery games, LuckSmith’s predictions can never be 100% accurate. Occasionally, LuckSmith's predicted PowerSets don’t contain one or more of the eventual winning numbers that are drawn. Historically, however, LuckSmith’s PowerSets contain an average of 75% or more of the winning numbers in a particular drawing, for the games we track. Back to top

Is LuckSmith only for serious lottery players?
LuckSmith was specifically designed to be simple enough for any lottery player to use, expert or novice. If you typically buy Quick Pick tickets, or tickets with computer-generated random combinations, consider letting LuckSmith generate PowerPick combinations for you. Instead of asking for a QuickPick, you fill out a game ticket using the PowerPick combination LuckSmith provides. (The price is the same for a QuickPick ticket, or a ticket you complete using a PowerPick combination). LuckSmith’s PowerPicks can improve your chances of matching numbers over standard Quick Picks, and you can generate up to 50 PowerPick combinations per drawing.

If you're a serious player, LuckSmith may help improve your results, too. If you use existing software, systems, or a method you've developed yourself, chances are good you can "jumpstart" those tools by using LuckSmith's PowerSet to reduce the number pool to choose from. Whether it's wheels, filters, grids, or any other system, a PowerSet might be a way to increase how many matches you get each time you play. Back to top

Does LuckSmith guarantee I will win a prize?
No lottery software, book, strategy, or system can ever be 100% accurate, and none can ever offer a guarantee of winning a prize. LuckSmith is no different. We provide the tools to help improve your odds, but we offer no promises and no guarantees as to whether or not you will win a prize in a lottery game. Back to top

I already have lottery software or use a lottery system, why do I need LuckSmith?
There are several excellent lottery programs and systems available to help people select the number combinations they think will win big money. Many serious players even develop their own strategies to play their favorite games. LuckSmith can save time studying tables, charts and drawing histories, and also help improve how those different systems and programs work. Using the PowerSet numbers, rather than the game's full range of available numbers, you can give your existing software or system a "jump start" in selecting the winning numbers. It can apply to wheels, filters, a combination of the two, or almost any other type of system. Back to top

I like to play a lottery using a smaller set of numbers than the PowerSet, why would I use LuckSmith?
If you play a lottery game by selecting a small set of numbers, say 15 or less, and then "wheeling" those numbers to generate your picks, LuckSmith might make selecting those numbers easier. The PowerSet is typically 20-30% smaller than the standard number range, and it often contains most if not all of the winning numbers. Back to top

If I subscribe to one game, but later want to change to a different game, can I do that?
You can change the game you subscribe to once during your subscription, by e-mailing the support team and asking to change it. Back to top

What is LuckSmith's refund policy?
When you subscribe, LuckSmith includes a refund date in your Welcome e-mail. You must send a request to refund your subscription price prior to this date to receive a refund. After that date, a subscription is considered active and no refunds will be offered. If you choose the 1-week trial subscription package, that date is 1 week from when you sign up. If the package you choose doesn't offer a free week trial, the refund date in the Welcome e-mail will be 1-2 days after the drawing for which you received your first PowerSet. If you subscribe to more than one game, the refund date will be based on the latest upcoming drawing date in the games you've chosen. This period gives you enough time to determine if LuckSmith is right for you. Back to top

Are the PowerSet results actual prediction results, or are they "reverse engineered"?
The results you see published are actual predictions that were generated and posted prior to the drawing in a particular game. We don't back-generate predictions after a drawing is complete. Back to top

PowerSet Questions
What is a PowerSet?
A PowerSet is a collection of numbers that LuckSmith’s technology predicts are more likely to appear in the upcoming drawing for a particular lottery game. LuckSmith creates a new PowerSet for each drawing by taking the full range of playable numbers in a lottery game, and applying technology to predict which of those numbers are more likely and which are less likely to appear in an upcoming drawing. Back to top

How does the PowerSet improve my odds in a lottery game?
To understand how LuckSmith improves your odds, consider if someone offered you a $100 prize to guess a number they are thinking. Would you rather guess a number between 1 and 100, or between 1 and 1000? You should choose to guess between 1 and 100 because there are fewer choices in that range, and you have a statistically better chance of guessing correctly, (i.e., 1 in 100, versus 1 in 1000).

This is the fundamental principle behind the PowerSet. Although the above example uses only a single number, and lottery games make you guess several numbers, the core principle still applies. With the PowerSet, which is a smaller set of numbers to choose from, LuckSmith gives you fewer choices to make in selecting numbers to play. If one or more of the winning numbers from a drawing are in the predicted PowerSet, your odds of matching those numbers – and of possibly winning a prize – are statistically better than if you had played without using the PowerSet. This is a mathematical truth that can be proven using the same equations lottery games use to calculate the odds in their games.

We publish current performance statistics, and estimated odds improvements, for each game we track. You can find them on the Statistics page. Back to top

Does the PowerSet change for every drawing?
LuckSmith creates a completely new PowerSet for each drawing in each game we track. New PowerSets for the next drawing are created and delivered via e-mail to subscribers shortly after the current drawing is completed. Back to top

Does the PowerSet always contain the winning numbers?
On average, LuckSmith’s PowerSets contain 75% of the winning numbers that appear in the drawing. That means that sometimes, the PowerSet will contain all of the winning numbers that are drawn, and sometimes it won’t. The specific performance of every game we follow is published in the Statistics section of the LuckSmith site. Those statistics are an excellent indicator of how well LuckSmith is predicting lottery results for a particular game. Back to top

How accurate is the PowerSet?
Our prediction system attempts to maintain an average of 77% of the winning numbers in each PowerSet for each game we track. We continuously monitor the prediction performance for each game, and we adjust the prediction parameters as needed to obtain the best PowerSet accuracy from one drawing to the next.

Because lottery games are random by design, no prediction system can predict exactly what will happen, and a degree of random behavior will be present in every drawing. As a result, the PowerSet accuracy score will fluctuate from game to game, and drawing to drawing. On average, however, even factoring in random behavior, we are able to maintain a high degree of PowerSet accuracy over time. Back to top

Why does the size and accuracy of PowerSet change from one drawing to the next?
LuckSmith’s technology monitors as many as 20 different aspects of each lottery game we track. This information, along with drawing history for the last two years, is used to determine what will happen in an upcoming drawing. As the drawing results and overall game behavior shift or change, the corresponding PowerSet for each upcoming drawing also can change. LuckSmith periodically recalibrates itself for each game to maintain maximum accuracy. This also sometimes changes the size and accuracy of the PowerSet. Back to top

How much smaller are PowerSets compared to the full number range in a lottery game?
LuckSmith typically reduces the available number range 20-25%, and as much as 45% in some cases. It varies with each game and drawing, but as an example, in a lottery game like Powerball, with a pool of 53 possible numbers, a PowerSet may contain anywhere from 30-42 numbers.

An important aspect of this strategy is reducing the pool of playable numbers without eliminating any of the numbers that appear in the upcoming drawing. This is where LuckSmith’s system is unique, and also very accurate. On average, the system reduces the number pool by roughly 25%, retaining an average of 75% of the winning numbers.

If you select numbers only from the PowerSet, and one or more of the winning numbers don't appear in the PowerSet, you can't win the ultimate jackpot (matching all of the possible numbers), because it may not include all of the winning numbers in the PowerSet. However, it can dramatically improve your odds of winning the next highest prize. Back to top

Does using a PowerSet limit my ability to win the big jackpot prizes?
If you use the PowerSet to select the numbers to play in a drawing, and all of the winning numbers appear in the PowerSet, you dramatically improve your chance of winning any potential prize offered in that lottery game. If one or more of the winning numbers aren't found in the predicted PowerSet, you are only eligible to win a prize matching the remaining numbers that do appear in the PowerSet. What that means is that you won't be able to win the jackpot prize (matching all of the possible numbers), because all of the winning numbers weren't available in the PowerSet for you to choose. However, your chances of matching the remaining winning numbers still improve dramatically, giving you a much better chance of winning the next highest prizes.

This is a reality of using any type of strategy that reduces the playable number range to select numbers. Some lottery players don't like trading a long-shot chance at the major jackpot prize for a much better chance at winning a smaller prize. Ultimately, you need to ask yourself if you would be willing to occasionally sacrifice a chance at a game's jackpot prize for a significantly better chance at winning the second-place prize in that game.

Because LuckSmith's technology is so accurate, you're eligible to win the bigger prizes in many of the drawings and games LuckSmith tracks. Back to top

POWERPICKS QUESTIONS
What are PowerPicks?
PowerPicks are number combinations that are chosen at random from the numbers in a PowerSet for an upcoming drawing. PowerPicks are not lottery tickets, they are only suggested number combinations to play that are based only on numbers from the PowerSet. To be eligible to win any lottery prize with a PowerPick, you must complete a valid game form using those number combinations, and then purchase valid lottery tickets. Back to top

Is a PowerPick ticket from LuckSmith the same as a lottery ticket?
No. LuckSmith PowerPicks are suggested number combinations to play in a lottery game. They have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for a cash prize from LuckSmith or from any lottery game retailer. In order to win using a LuckSmith PowerPick, you must purchase a lottery ticket from your local retailer using the number combination(s) suggested on the LuckSmith PowerPick. If you do not purchase a lottery ticket with the winning PowerPick combination, you cannot win a cash prize, from the lottery game, or from LuckSmith. LuckSmith cannot be held responsible or liable if a PowerPick number combination is a winner of a cash prize, but no valid lottery game ticket was purchased with those numbers for the drawing. Back to top

Are PowerPicks better than QuickPicks?
PowerPicks can provide better odds of matching numbers – and possibly winning prizes – because they are taken from a smaller overall pool of numbers. If winning numbers in an upcoming drawing are present in the PowerSet, your chances of matching one or more of those numbers are significantly higher than if you hadn’t used the PowerSet. Because the PowerPicks were selected from a pool that included fewer non-winning numbers, your chances of picking non-winning numbers goes down, and your chances of matching the winning numbers improves.

If one or more of the winning numbers do not appear in a PowerSet that is used to generate a PowerPick, it becomes statistically impossible win the prize associated with matching all of the drawn numbers. This is a necessary reality of using the LuckSmith prediction system, as well as any wheeling or other partial-range number selection system. However, your odds of matching one or more of the winning numbers that are in the PowerSet still improve significantly. Back to top

Does LuckSmith use a wheeling system to generate PowerPicks?
LuckSmith currently doesn't use any type of wheeling system to generate PowerPicks. Instead, we use an advanced technique to generate random combinations for each PowerPick. We've evaluated several different wheeling strategies and models, and found that random selection offers the most consistent performance for generating number combinations. Wheeling systems can have more success, but the success can be less consistent or reliable.

We are currently developing and testing a unique random selection technology to complement the PowerSet prediction technology we use. When these are refined enough to bring a significant benefit to lottery ticket play, we will make them available to existing LuckSmith subscribers at no additional cost. Back to top

Can I cash in a LuckSmith PowerPick just like a lottery ticket?
No. LuckSmith PowerPicks are suggested number combinations to play in a lottery game, they are not lottery tickets for any game. They have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for a cash prize from LuckSmith or from any lottery game retailer. In order to win using a LuckSmith PowerPick, you must purchase a lottery ticket from your local retailer using the number combination(s) suggested in the LuckSmith PowerPick. If you do not purchase a lottery ticket with the winning PowerPick combination, you cannot win a cash prize, from the lottery game, or from LuckSmith. LuckSmith cannot be held responsible or liable if a PowerPick number combination is a winner of a cash prize, but no valid lottery game ticket was purchased with those numbers for the designated drawing. Back to top

Are the PowerPicks I get unique? Are there ever duplicates?
All of the PowerPicks are generated randomly, and LuckSmith insures it never generates two of the exact same combinations for you to play in a particular drawing. LuckSmith doesn’t check if one or more of your PowerPicks match those sent to another subscriber. This strategy allows all LuckSmith subscribers an equal chance of matching all of the winning numbers. It’s rare that you’ll ever have a PowerPick combination that matches another subscriber's, but just as in lottery games, sometimes it does happen. Back to top
